In the first quarter of 2022, the top 5 sports apps in the Middle East showed varied performance trends in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period.

8 Ball Pool from Miniclip.com experienced a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at around $119K in the last week of March. Weekly downloads remained relatively stable, averaging around 75K. However, weekly active users saw a slight decline from approximately 2.3M at the beginning of January to 2.1M by the end of March.

EA SPORTS FC™ Mobile Soccer by ELECTRONIC ARTS saw a significant rise in weekly revenue, reaching a high of about $89K in the last week of February. Downloads also showed an upward trend, peaking at 90K in early March. Active users saw an initial surge to over 1M in mid-January but stabilized around 800K towards the end of the quarter.

Psyonix Studios' Rocket League Sideswipe had a noticeable drop in weekly downloads, from nearly 100K at the start of January to just over 11K by the end of March. Active users followed a similar downward trend, decreasing from over 300K in January to around 182K by the end of March.

Carrom Pool: Disc Game, another offering from Miniclip.com, maintained a steady revenue stream, averaging around $5K weekly. Downloads fluctuated slightly but remained strong, peaking at around 47K in mid-January. Active users hovered around the 500K mark throughout the quarter.

Soccer Superstar from Real Freestyle Soccer saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, reaching approximately $700 in the last week of March. Downloads experienced a significant boost, peaking at over 61K in mid-March. Active users also grew steadily from about 387K at the end of December to nearly 423K by mid-March.
